Composition 2010.01 (Object World) is forty-two minutes and forty seconds in duration - and was produced digitally using FM synthesis. The components fo the composition consist of a repeating thirty-two-bar sound that fades in and out of the mix - and which has been hard-panned to the left channel - a repeating sixty-four-bar sound that fades in and out of the mix and which has been hard-panned to the right channel - a forty-bar sound that repeats every sixty-four bars - and a twelve-hundred-and-eighty-bar pulsing sound that continues throughout the duration of the composition

Composition 2010.01 (Object World) is an example of ‘technological lessness’ - and explores what the architect and philosopher Buckminster Fuller called post-industrial ephemeralization - of doing more with less - of doing everything with nothing.
